About Us

The Leichhardt Wanderers Club was formed in 1911 and is the oldest continuously running junior league club in Australia.  Leichhardt Wanderers Netball Club started in 2009 with two teams. Since then the Club has grown to be the largest netball club in Sydney's Inner West, with over 60 teams in 2023.

In December 2023 the important step of establishing an incorporated association - known as the Leichhardt Wanderers Netball Club, Inc was taken. An affiliation agreement was also formalised with the Leichhardt Wanderers Junior Rugby League & Cricket Club, Inc.

The Leichhardt Wanderers Netball Club Inc is an inclusive club that is built on good governance, positive team spirit, good sportsmanship and encouragement. We welcome the young and young at heart to join in the wonderful game of netball.
